"Please, No More Sequels!!!"

Films: The Astro-Zombies (1968), Mark of the Astro-Zombies (2002), Astro-Zombies M3: Cloned (2010), Astro-Zombies M4: Invaders from Cyber-Space (2012)

Alias: None

Type: Man-Made/Alien

Location: Civilized Area/Eldritch Location

Height/Weight: That of an average human.

Affiliation: Evil

Summary: It doesn't matter how old a film is. Someone is going to find it, get that "sequel or slaughter" mindset, and continue its legacy whether it likes it or not. But enough about the Killer Shrews film. Let's talk about the increasingly unhinged saga of the Astro-Zombies.

History: So the first Astro-Zombie was created in 1968 by a mad scientist named Dr. Septimus DeMarco...then 20 years later, a group of asteroid-dwelling reptoid aliens cloned an army of them...then they came back for no reason...then there was a planet called Mozortza V filled with them out for Earth's blood...you know what. Forget it. If there's more to it than that, then tell them we stopped caring at this point.

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: The first Astro-Zombie gets electrocuted to death, the next batch self-destructs after the reptoids three-eyed rivals destroy them (.....alright), the next gets their asses handed to them by bomb-wielding ladies, and the whole planet of them is destroyed by a meteor. But not before they send out a capsule holding all of their collective DNA and knowledge. I need aspirin. Right. Now.

Powers/Abilities: They are immune to most damage, and occasionally shoot lasers from their eyes.

Weakness: Explosives, electricity, and the fact that mirrors can reflect their lasers back at them.

Scariness Factor: 3.5-Admittingly, they can be a powerful army of undead with their weapons and lasers and what-not. They are held back though by some admittingly shoddy costumes and the sheer ridiculousness of the barely-connected scenarios they get themselves in.

Trivia: -The first film had to take $3,000 of its $37,000 budget to pay John Caradine (the scientist) alone.

-Just a personal tidbit: if I ever see another sequel to these films again, I will sign a petition to have them all dumped into Mariana's Trench. Mark my words.

Back when they were less accurate and more dignified.

"Ugh...damn mask."

"NOT INTERESTED!"

"This...this is power!"
A thousand deaths? Sounds excessive.

Yeah, these things were co-existing with them at one point. I know.

"CRAPCRAPCRAPCRAPCRAP!"

On second thought, leave that moutpart teethless.
How does that body even work?!

The fury of a renewed species runs deep.

Things are about to get...crazier for these creatures.

Conquest of the Plant of the Astro-Zombies!
